Butterflies on the wing at Chiddingfold.

Updated: Jun 6, 2021

Wood Whites and Green Hairstreaks still out in good numbers at Chiddingfold along with many Brimstones, Orange Tips, Dingy Skippers and Small Heaths. The rare Drab Looper moth has emerged and has been seen this week around the Wood Spurge. Nightingales are still in song and a few Early Purple Orchids are still hanging on.
